American Genius

Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 3:00 pm
Flatrock Community Auditorium

The genius of American musicianship is evident in this concert. Copland and Creston were two of the most important American composers of the late 20th century and their two works will have your feet dancing. Rounding out the concert is a performance by a living American genius and the winner of the fi rst (1962) Van Cliburn Piano Competition, Ralph Votapek.

Tickets are $25 for general seating, and $20 for seniors; students are free with proper ID or accompanying parent. Tickets available at the door or in advance by contacting the SGLS box office at (734) 246-2890.
